Silly Bernie! You're not going to have another night after a night or another day after a day. It's because of the world moving around. Why do you think we have seasons? Because the Earth goes around the sun and that means when our part of world is pointing away from the sun, it's winter, and when it's pointing to the sun, it's summer. And we also spin in a circle while we're going around the sun so it's like imagine Tilly spinning around you trying to catch your tail while running around you as well. That's kind of like the sun and the Earth. Tilly's the Earth and you're the sun. If you can imagine that, then you would probably know how we get day and night.
